  • DAVID P. LINDLEY

    March 21, 1944 – March 3, 2023

David will not soon be forgotten. His impact and influence were felt by countless individuals throughout the world. Those of us that got to spend time with him were changed for the better by his kindness, his talents, his spirit, his generosity, and his brilliant sense of humor. His wife Joanie and daughter Rosanne miss him terribly, as do we all.

After studying guitar at the feet of this already brilliant young master in 1967, I reconnected with Dave in 2002 and we worked on many projects and gigs together over the 20 years that followed. We were planning new projects up through last fall — one being the update of his archaic HTML website that I had built in the dark ages. Dave fully intended to resume touring and along with the new website, he wanted to relaunch merch sales to go along with hitting the road. He had found a few CDs and other bits of old tour merchandise. and was also interested in offering digital downloads of albums that were no longer in print and are often being offered online for ridiculous sums of money.

In the Pleemhead Store we are offering downloads of Dave's self-published works as well as bootlegs that others profited off for years. I am honored to volunteer to keep David's legacy alive via this website and our Facebook group. I miss my friend dearly and know that many of you feel the same way. If you'd like to contribute your stories and photos please join our David Lindley Fans & Family Facebook group or drop me a line using the contact form below.

Thanks, and keep in touch! ~ Douglas Reynolds
